As a public defender that has represented hundreds of unsheltered individuals and has worked in Homeless Court and Kayak Court, Rep. Miller has repeatedly worked to address our homelessness crisis:
- Worked to removeunnecessary barriers to professional licensingto get more social workers to the front lines.
- Helped to prevent human traffickingin unsheltered communities.

Rep. Miller is dedicated to protecting an individual's right to personal agency free of government interference, including the determination of one's own bodily autonomy, reproduction, sexuality, and gender.
-Believes in the right to choose and works to keep abortion health care safe and accessible.
-Fought to defend trans rights and access to gender confirmation healthcare.
-Voted and advocated against bills that targeted the trans community.

Competence to reform CRIMINAL JUSTICE.
As a trial attorney, Grant has worked on thousands of criminal cases from Utah’s courthouses, jails, and prisons. He has worked to confront our mass incarceration problem with rehabilitative and restorative justice.
- Passed legislation reforming how defendants can pay court fines if they don’t have money.
- Passed legislation standardizing sentencing guidelines to increase public safety.
- Repeatedly voted against harmful mandatory minimum sentencing schemes to fight mass incarceration.
